(More customer reviews)These bars are healthier than Myoplex (which uses CORN SYRUP to sweeten), and you can get LOW SUGAR BARS, which I haven't been able to find, for my husband with hypoglycemia. The price per bar is excellent, the bars all have high quality ingredients, and there are lots of choices.
Last time, I ordered only low glycemic bars, for my husband, but this tiime I tried an assortment, so I got mostly regular bars. There was a nice assortment in the box, protein bars AND fruit bars, which was a nice surprise. I just received the box today, so I can only comment on the one bar I tried, the Biogenesis Ultralean in chocolate mint. It was pretty good, but the same bar in a LOW-CARB version is AMAZING -- more like a candy bar.
Originally I got a box with two low carbohydrate Biogenesis bars, the chocolate mint and the coconut macadamia. I LOVE the chocolate mint, and the coconut macadamia is very good, but a little too sweet for my tastes. Hard to believe it can be so sweet and so low in sugar.
